SMARTPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY

Our generation is always asking for more. Technology has gone to another level where we have Drone flying in the sky and clicking what we see from through its eyes. If I think of it, when they launched cell phone it was just for calling and messaging and few games like snakes. We never asked for cameras, internet, wifi, video calls, WhatsApp, iMessage or anything. They gave us more comfort, asked us to chill relax - everything should be given even if you didn't want it.

But hey, its easy to criticize! What they have made is beautiful, your life is much faster, you can finish all work within no time. Life is confusing but still so damn easy. Well, I just wanted to let these creators know that I'm proud of them and I love you guys what you all keep creating every single day. Hats Off!

Smartphone Photography

I somehow get to learn a lot just by shooting regularly on my smartphone. I'll tell you how?
I don't really want to carry my Camera everywhere but I can always carry my smartphone - its SMART, you remember? There is a portrait mode which lets me click as if I'm shooting on bloody 50mm 1.8. There are applications like Snapseed which makes your life more easy cause it has everything you need to do a professional editing. Its small you can shoot whatever you want and nobody point a finger. You can put it in those places where you cant fix your cameras? Well, may be! All what I'm trying to say is, it teaches me more, gives me better ideas of angle, better understand about framing and this education I use when I'm doing my professional shoots. NO BIGGIE!

Well here are some images from my recent tour to #Kasol with my iPhone!

Please let me know how you like these images. Thank you

EXPLORE

Every single day I try to learn something. I make it a point that I explore something new. It is more like a challenge to my self I can't sleep without learning something. My close ones, they always ask me this question 'why do you keep your laptop on while you're sleeping" the truth is I keep it on so that I can learn something new by watching anything on youtube or other websites.

I like to meet new people that's cause they are going to educate me on something new for sure. Yes, I end up meeting very boring people and sometimes very hyperactive but even they have something new to tell you. The reason, why I talk about this today is cause recently I've met few people who have no idea where they are going and they think life has come to end. They are clueless and since they are aged 25 by now they should be settled but the fact is none of us are settled, I am still confused about what I really want to do in life? I'm just exploring. I do not want to waste my time and later say SHIT! I should've tried that. I take my ass and camera every single place and give it a shot. All I want you all to know - it is easy and it is going to be easiest, all you need to do is practice more and more.

Here is the video I made with a friend of mine Akshay Yadav he's an artist and this guy inspires me every single time.

MODERN SPOUSE

We all know in the 21st century none of us are here to sacrifice, you've got to deal with everything or maybe come to an understanding. Its tough but when you plan to get married - that means you're ready to sacrifice a lot of things. It tough for women and men both but women have got to leave her house, her parents, pets, siblings etc.

And believe it or not, it is the same story all around the world, in any culture. What we watch in movies and TV series that is not the real story. So this idea was in my mind for quite some time where I could show how women of our generation are changing where they are carefree, wild, and mad. They aren't looking pretty for those 10,000 men out there they look pretty for themselves.

Secret in Me

It is quite difficult and as a fashion and a commercial photographer, it is important for you to work for free. Guys trust me it's NOT! I've made those mistakes and I still do free shoots but only if I really want to work with them. There are many things to add onto that but keeping that aside. Here is my first editorial shoot: Watch the BTS VIDEO

You'll Shine - Motivational View

Recently I was traveling around Maharashtra for 5 days. I happen to shoot a lot of landscape videos and photos. This video has been on the list for a very long time. Finally, I could get some. time to shoot and edit. The reason, why I love traveling, is that it inspires me the most. Keeps me rolling let me think right. I try not to lose my patience, I really try hard to not to abuse people. But we all are humans and we end up losing our shit sometimes. Here is the video which might give you little inspiration.

Please watch the video below and read everything that I've written

Here are some pictures from my trip. Let me know how you like them.

All these while I've been doing slow motion video with slow songs last night I decided to make a video on 25fps and use a slow song to create a story. Let me know how you all link this video.

I shot this video on 4k and edited on my MacBook pro 15" 2015-16 model. It's not tough to shoot and edit on 4k you have got to give a chance.

Angel & Devil in you

We have both of it within us. Angel & devil! That is the pretty much idea for this shoot.
Believe in what you think is right, listen to your heart but don't run behind glamour which might just mess you up. Take your decisions wisely cause that is going to set your future right. Shortcuts are not available ;)

This concept was in mind for a really long time and when I spoke to my stylist Khusboo she was even more excited about the whole idea. We had to figure our outfits and arrange few things like how to build a crown, get the feathers, and yes wings! #Mumbai is a beautiful city where if you start to look what you want you can find anything you need, all you need do is start looking for it. Once we were ready with all the things we needed for the shoot we started to hunt for a model and we met Tasha who was more than happy to do what we had planned.
